Bob proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1966 to 1975, completing two tours of duty in Vietnam. During his service, he earned numerous medals and ribbons, including the Purple Heart. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant, having served his country with courage and dedication.
Following his military service, Bob spent several years working in the trucking repair business. He lived in Nevada beginning in 1995 before eventually moving to Paso Robles, California, to be closer to his sister, Kelly Case-Horn.
While in Paso Robles, Bob attended The Bridge Church. He had a deep love for animals, especially horses and llamas, and shared a special bond with his beloved Golden Retriever, Meka, who held a particularly cherished place in his heart.
Bob will be remembered for his service to his country, his love of animals, and the life he lived among family, friends, and his church community. He will be missed by those who knew and cared for him.
May he rest in peace.
