Ross was born in San Luis Obispo and has lived in the county his entire life. He graduated from San Luis High in 1975. He had a fun filled life with all of his friends and family. He worked hard in the trucking and construction industry and built a great life with his wife Gina since they met in 1991. Ross was a friend to so many people. His generosity and honesty were his greatest attributes. He mentored those he thought he could help. He was called Dad or Pops by a few guys younger than him. And Uncle Ross by way more than his immediate family.
Ross always loved to rescue animals and for the past couple of years he contributed to Paso Cares by feeding the less fortunate.
Although he could be a bit of a gruff guy, he’d refer to himself by saying he was “a little rough around the edges”. But anyone who really knew him knows he was truly a gem, being refined by his Lord.
Graveside services will be held Friday July 17th at the Paso Robles District Cemetery at 10am.
Immediately following will be a celebration of his life at his home, Stone River Ranch.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Central Coast Herding Dog Rescue, where he adopted his precious Missy from, contact www.cchdrescue.org
