Stephen Napoli, 47, of Paso Robles, passed away March 14, 2018. He leaves behind his loving wife Mariza, 3 beautiful, amazing children, Alyssa, Vanessa, Anthony, and two handsome grandsons, Caleb and Jace. He also leaves behind a sister Jennifer, her husband Matt and three nephews, Trent, Ryan and Zachary.
Steve was born in Northridge Ca August 18, 1970. He was raised in Stirling City Ca, and later lived in Valencia Ca where he met his wife Mariza .and raised their 3 children until they moved to Paso Robles in 2007.
Early on Steve started out as a volunteer for the Los Angeles County Probation Department and was later hired as a Probation officer. He served in that field faithfully for 23 years, reaching the position of Assistant Director /acting Director. His passion was reaching out to all of the kids in every facility he worked at, encouraging and supporting them with love and respect. He believed there were no bad kids, only bad situations.
His biggest source of enjoyment was to watch and coach his and other children in the sports they participated in. He was an avid sports enthusiast and was often seen running onto the field or court to congratulate players. He would often track down pro sports players for autographs or pictures. He was loved, admired and respected by all that he came in contact with. Steve loved the Lord and would send daily scriptures to the many people he loved and cared for. No matter who the person was, Steve knew it was important to look on the inside of the person and not judge them by what’s on the outside. But what brought Steve the most joy in life, was his family near and far and spending time with them. He was very proud of his children and adored his wife. They were the joy of his life.
