Dear Steve, we’ve known each other since we were 3 years old. Our moms worked together and were good friends. They are both still alive. Mine is 94. You and I connected after many years just 6 months ago. It was like no time had passed. You are a wonderful human kind, humble and lived a simple peaceful life. I’m still in shock. I can't believe this!  I'm going to miss my racing buddy so much!  I always talked to his Ring camera when he wasn't home, and he'd always text me right away.  We rooted for the same driver in NASCAR, so I'd fill him in on the race communications every week.  He thanked me for being his "spotter."  I can't believe we'll never talk again.  It hurts my heart.  RIP, Steve.  You were one of the good ones.
