He leaves his daughter Amanda Baxter of Las Vegas, Nevada; his wife Yolanda Mendoza Baxter of Soledad; a brother Michael Baxter of Royal Oaks, California, his children Zoe, Isabella and Cody Beau; a sister Michelle Farrer and husband Whitney of Chico, California and their children, Chelsea Campbell and husband Tommy of San Luis Obispo, Zachary, Sarah and Mikaela of Chico, California; sister-in-law Dawn Baxter of Paso Robles and her children Cheyenne Holman and Jacob Todd Baxter of Paso Robles; and stepchildren, Salvador Arteaga and son Nikolas of Salinas, California, Iris Jhanelle Sanchez of Salinas, California; and numerous aunts, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by father Bill Marion Baxter, mother Camille Dee Baxter and brother C. Beau Baxter.
Todd was an athlete and an avid golfer. A Giants fan and 49er Faithful, his booming voice could be heard throughout the house when games were on. He loved music and it played constantly and loudly wherever he was.
He loved watching sunsets and especially enjoyed the feel of the trade winds from a lanai in Hawaii. He was a long time 7-Eleven franchisee, successfully owning and operating two stores in Santa Cruz, California for over 30 years.
His final residence was at Ridge View Ranch which for generations, has been and continues to be a family owned property in Paso Robles. He loved the ranch and would walk the property, referred to as “loping around” as he remarked on the beauty, the history, and wildlife.
Todd leaves dozens of close friends and their wives and children.
He was a family man who considered his friends to be family. Todd was sensitive, generous and fun loving.
He will be profoundly missed, his sense of humor (acerbic wit galore!) and endless advice, his big voice and irreplaceable place in our families and hearts.
