

Virginia June Perry, 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Nov 6, 2014. The youngest of six children, Virginia was born “June” 20, 1922 in Lindsey, CA to Harry and Lilly Hansen. After losing her mother at age 6 and her father at age 10, Virginia was raised by her older sister Alice.
Virginia married Charles Edwin Perry, and in 1963 they had their daughter Laura. She was Virginia’s pride and joy. In 1972, after divorce, Virginia and Laura moved to Paso Robles. Virginia was a registered nurse for over 50 years. She had a long career as an assistant to a plastic surgeon, a surgical nurse, the Director of Nurses at Paso Robles Nursing Home, and finally retiring from Atascadero State Hospital.
Being a passionate die-hard Dodgers fan is one of the many wonderful things she passed down to her daughter.
Virginia is survived by her daughter Laura (Perry) Segobia, two grandsons; Brandon and Deven Segobia, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, brothers; Duke and Wayne Hansen and sisters; Laverda, Therma and Alice.
