Walter Joseph Bronson
November 1, 1933 – May 6, 2020

Walter Joseph Bronson was born on November 1, 1933, All Saints Day, to George and Mildred Bronson in Los Angeles, California.  He grew up in Montebello, went to school at St. Benedict School and Cantwell/Sacred Heart High School. He graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in animal husbandry. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served as a private first class in Germany from 1956 – 1958. He married Jean Roden on April 8, 1961.  He was the proud father of 7 children, Karen, Mark, Timothy, Paula, Patrick, Patricia and Gregory. To provide for his family, he worked hard for over 60 years as a real estate appraiser and property manager. He was a volunteer leader for Indian Guides and Boy Scouts and served his church communities in a variety of ways including usher, money counter, parish council and as a member of the Knights of Columbus. A faithful Catholic, Walter was the spiritual head of his family, ensuring that they were always grounded in and inspired by their Catholic faith. He left a great legacy of love for faith, family, and country. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, his 7 children, 25 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is always in our prayers and in our hearts.
