Adam Burns, of Pataskala, unexpectedly passed away on Friday March 19, 2021 at age 35. Adam left behind the love of his life Karina, his pride and joy Vincent, his beloved parents Skyla and Gary Burns, sister Kylie and Tim Brown, Sister-in-law Aline and Nathan Smith, Helena D.Guedes and Frank Furtado, two beautiful nieces Sophia and Stella Smith, one nephew Ayna Furtado, Grandmothers Nellie Burns, Sharon Manson, Marylou Frey and Deuza Guedes, Mother and Father-In-Law Lucimar and Ricardo Beauclair, uncles, aunts, many cousins and friends. Adam was a faithful Christian. He was well respected and a mentor to many at Gutridge Plumbing for over 10 years. Adam was a family man and loved the outdoors. His hobbies were riding his Harley, shooting his guns, and riding his quads. Anyone that ever met Adam instantly loved him. He had an intimidating look, but was the sweetest, kindest, nicest person you’d ever meet. Adam was a gentle soul and Momma’s boy. He loved being with friends and family, and always helped anyone with anything. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Anyone that knew him would say he was a humble and simple man. Although Adam was taken too soon, he lived life to the fullest. He will forever live in our memories and be kept close to our hearts.

It is with great sadness that we received the news that Adam had passed away. He was indeed a wonderful person. It was just a few weeks ago that he came to our house and helped us with a much needed job. He was a hard worker and a true gentleman.
As a young boy he attended our church in Kirkersville with his grandfather and grandmother, (Wilbur and Nellie Burns). Even at a young age he was a real gentleman. Very quiet and very respectable.
The world indeed has lost a great person. You are gone but you will not be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with this wonderful family. Sincerely, Rev David Darst and Pauline Darst

To Skyla, Gary and Adam’s family:

As long-time neighbors of Adam’s Waverly, Ohio grandparents, Sharon and Don, we remember Adam as a boy when he would visit. He was their pride and joy.

Adam’s loving mother, Skyla, was our favorite kid on the block growing up. His dad, Gary, proved to be the perfect match for her and a kind, responsible father to Adam.

Time will heal your broken hearts, but memories never fade.
