Betty Louise Bowles

Betty L Bowles, 84, of Pataskala, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on January 9th, 2022. She was born March 2, 1937 in Rutland, OH, a daughter to the late Howard C. German and Lissa L. (Hysell) German. Betty loved camping, fishing, crosswords, riding her 4-wheeler, baking, and most of all she loved our savior, Jesus! Betty worked for 15 years as a school bus monitor for Southwest Licking Schools officially retiring in 2011. She is survived by her sons and daughters, Mike Bowles, Don (Charlene) Bowles, Donna Bowles, Randy (Chris) Bowles, Joe Bowles, and Debbie (Jim) Oswald; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and brother, Robert German. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Bowles; son, David H. Bowles; son-in-law, Dwight Blevins; brothers, Curt German, John German and sister; Edna Coy. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Bella Care Hospice for their care and compassion especially, nurse Krista. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Muncy officiating. Interment will follow at York Road Cemetery.
