Carol Ann Hughes

For 61 years, Carol and I walked through life together sharing laughter and tears, celebrations and challenges. Through all the years, she was the person I could always turn to, and all I will forever be grateful that God gave me the honor of spending my life with Carol.

Carol was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and soon to be a great grandmother, and friend. She had a heart that cared deeply for others, and the love she gave to her family will continue to live on in all of us. Her kindness, strength, compassion, and beautiful spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

She was especially proud of her family and cherished the time she spent with her children (Holly K. Hughes Graham (Gregg), David G. Hughes Jr. (Laura, grandchildren Nathaniel.

Graham (Teresa), Emma R. Graham, and Shelby Ann Chung (Daniel). Survived by her brother Don Wayne Daniel. The memories she made with them will be treasured forever.

Her love will continue through every story we tell, every family gathering and every moment when we remember the woman she was.

Our 61 years together was a gift from God I will always cherish. Although my heart is broken by her passing, I am thankful for everyday, every conversation, every smile, and Carol had a great smile, every embrace, and every memory we shared. Carol was the love of my life.

Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her love will remain in my heart for the rest of my life.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St, Pataskala, OH 43062, US, on October 14, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
