Donald M. Brown

Donald “Don” Michael Brown, age 78, of Lancaster, Ohio formerly of Pataskala, passed away at Canal Care Center on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, he was surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was born on February 13, 1948, in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Derald and Virginia Brown.

Don graduated from Watkins Memorial High School in 1968. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving his country during the Vietnam War. Don was the proud owner and operator of Contract Flooring. He was an avid fan of all things motorsports and motorcycles, and loved a cup of coffee accompanied by a Resch’s donut.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Brenda Brown; sons, Shawn (Kristina) Brown and Shannon (Jenny) Brown; grandsons, Gavin (Madelyn), Tyler, Nate (Jess), Austin, and Maverick; great-grandson, Bennett; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in passing by his great-grandson, Holden Oliver.

Family and friends may gather from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St. Pataskala, OH 43062. A memorial service is to immediately follow beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, Pastor Ron Grubb will be officiating.
