Dorothy R. Strait 89, lived in Central Ohio her whole life, ending up in Newark, OH at Goosepond Retirement Village. A Graveside Service will be held at 10 AM at Jefferson Cemetery in Blacklick, OH on Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Dorothy was born on September 9, 1922 in Columbus, OH to the late Frank and Edna (Holcomb) Strait. Dorothy retired from BWC after 30 years of dedicated service. Dorothy enjoyed traveling, bingo and eating out with friends.
Dorothy is survived by her great nephew Mike (Angie) Fry, great- great niece and nephew Tessa and Michael Fry along with many dear friends.
Dorothy is preceded in death by brothers and sister-in-law Dean (Wilda) Strait and Virgil Strait and niece Patsy Loewendick.
Friends may come to call at Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Pataskala, OH on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 1 to 4 pm. The family requests that if you have a picture of Dorothy and would like to share it, please bring it to the funeral home to be placed on their memory board
