Dottie Jean Shortridge

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Dottie Jean (Little) Shortridge, age 73 of rural Granville, will be held at the Kauber Sammons Funeral Home on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 10:00am with Rev. Paul Snoddy officiating. Burial will be in Kirkersville Cemetary.

Dottie was born in Columbus on April 16, 1941 to the late Russell and Betty Little. Dottie passed away at Grant Medical Center on August 31, 2014.

She graduated from Watkins HS in 1959 and attended OSU in Columbus. She was a Clerk for the West Licking Fire District for over 30 years. She was also a member of the Kirkersville Child Study Club, a part of the Ohio Child Conservation League for nearly 40 years. She enjoyed raising her three sons and traveling.

Survivors include her husband Frank of 53 years, her sons, Tim (Lori) Shortridge of Pataskala, Dan Shortridge of Junction City, and Ed (Michelle) Shortridge of Madison; grandchildren Katie (Joshua) Snyder, Kelsie (Kevin) Nickolas, Kayla (Parker Quincel) Shortridge, all of Pataskala, Amber Shortridge of Alexandria, Ryan Shortridge of Granville, Sierra, Cole and Nathan Shortridge, all of Madison, and one great-grandson, Kenneth Shortridge of Granville. Sister-in-law Rachel (Jeff) Schneider of Pataskala, sister Bonnie (Garry) Keith of Pleasantville, and her brother Ken (Mara) Little of Glenford, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
