I had the pleasure of working with Tom for a few years. Each morning we would talk about the goodness of God and family. He and Jo are the one of the greatest people I know. Jo would send treats with Tom during the holidays. Tom was a fun person who always made you laugh, even when you didn't want to. Tom carried God where ever he went and yes loved Ohio State. He will be missed. To the walker family, you are in our prayers. Tom is dancing and telling jokes like no tomorrow.  The autozoners know about the ol Tom push. He's doing that also.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I have many memories of the family from 1st Pres. all the way back to my childhood. I can remember you didn't see Tom on Sunday mornings that he didn't have a smile for everyone. So sorry I can't make the graveside today, I'm dealing with some health issues with my Mom and she has some appointments today.  I will truely miss seeing April and Deena, it's been a really long time.Take good care and may God bless.

Tom was such a huge Buckeye fan.  And he brought such light into everyone's life.  He will be greatly missed.

I last saw Tom in December when my dad was in a rehab facility. He walked next door to my folk's condo to give us some goodies Jo had put together (something they did often). We drank lemonade and talked about all sorts of things as Tom was never at a loss for words nor was I. He stayed awhile and visited then I walked with him back to his condo. Tom was always so thoughtful. He would bring my mom flowers (she's had health problems pretty much since they moved to Indianapolis), deliver meals Jo made, leave his newspapers for my dad, and anything else he thought needed to be done to bring a smile, help, and love his neighbors. He and Jo came to many of our family functions because they adopted us in a sense. Tom was a “doer” (there are so few “doers” these days it seems). Yes, he and Jo are the most enthusiastic OSU fans I've ever known (trust me, I've known many). They were always so adorable all dressed up in their OSU gear. He so loved the Lord, his children, his grandchildren, and he adored beautiful Jo. I celebrate Tom's home-going knowing he is free from all sickness and present with the Lord. My heart is heavy for Jo, their children, and grandchildren. Jo, I love you so very much. May God give you and your family all the comfort you need each and every day until you are re-united with Tom.

Tom was a joy to work with.  His ready smile and sense of fun made every day with him a wonderful one.  He talked frequently about his family and his love for them was readily apparent.  I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to see him recently, he was a good friend.

I was fortunate to work many years with Tom. He never met a stranger and was always ready and eager to give his opinion. "Let me tell you this about that" Tom was a true gem. He loved his Lord, his family, and his Buckeyes!! I was honored to call him my friend and he will be truely missed by all who knew him. Even though we know that Tom is with our Heavenly Father, our hearts still break for Jo, his family, and the many friends who loved him.

I KNEW TOM WHEN HE WORKED FOR AUTO ZONE, TOM WAS A VERY GOOD AND HONEST MAN. TOM WAS A OHIO STATE BUCKEYE FAN ALSO. THROUGH THE YEARS HE AND I HAVE NOT STAYED IN CONTACT.
