Ernest Lincoln Sayre

Ernest Lincoln Sayre, Born – Oct 5, 1968 in Ripley WVA. He passed away unexpectedly, Oct 10 in Arbuckle WV from result of an accident. Ernest graduated from Watkins Memorial High School in 1987. Ernest served in US Army as an MP and worked for State of Ohio as a correctional officer for 24 years. Ernie was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time on his property in WV. He is proceeded in death by Father, Lowell (Bud) Sayre in 1995 and lifelong best friend Bill Rathgaber. Ernest is survived by his mother Leona Brandum, Pataskala, OH, siblings Mike (Val) Bates, Patricia Sayre-Tuller (Jack), and Christina Sayre all of Pataskala, OH, companion and soulmate for over 14 years Tammy Wallace, Reynoldsburg, OH, several nieces and nephews, close cousin Donnie Stonerock, and life time friends Bill and Nancy Rathgaber. Family and friends may call from 6-8pm Friday, October 22, 2021 and 10am-12pm Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home 289 S Main St Pataskala, OH 43062. A funeral service will begin at 12pm Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the funeral home.
