Frances Reynolds, 83, of Gahanna, OH, went home to be with her Lord on June 1st, 2020, after a brief battle with lung cancer.
Frances was born on April 25th, 1937, to Delbert & Marie ‘Hall’ Berry in Welch, WV. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Otis Reynolds, siblings Charles Berry, Bonnie Berry, Billie Maynard, and her son-in-law Robert Van Fossen.
She married Otis Reynolds and they were wed in the year 1957. They went on to have three daughters Debbie Van Fossen (Robert), Donna Best (Scott), and Jaymi Binkley (Waylon).
Though Frances’ life was centered around her family, her true joy was expressed through being a grandmother to six “grandbabies,” as she called them. Frances or “Gammy,” as she was nicknamed, loved children, and would want to spend all her time seeing them run, laugh, and enjoy their days together.
Frances will be laid to rest alongside her husband Otis, sister Bonnie, and parents at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. A graveside service will be held for friends and family at 10 a.m., Friday, June 5, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for any charitable donations to be made in her memory to the Kobacker House, Columbus, OH, which attentively cared for Frances during her last days.
“Victory in Jesus”
I heard about a mansion. He has built for me in glory. And I heard about the streets of gold. Beyond the crystal sea; About the angels singing, And the old redemption story, And some sweet day I'll sing up there. The song of victory.
