Gary Allen Mount passed away peacefully at the Alter Care Nursing Home November 29, 2020, where he fought a courageous battle. He was preceded in death by his wife Sharen (Howdyshell) Mount, and his younger sister Carolyn Mount. Gary is survived by his parent’s Mary Mount and Paul (Gale) Mount, as well as his sister Brenda (Ken) Murphy and brother Doug (Cheryl) Mount and step siblings. He was loved by many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Gary was born and raised in Columbus Ohio. He later moved to Bremen, Ohio where he met his wife Sharen. Gary was a volunteer fireman in Bremen, where he farmed and marketed organic produce. Gary was known for his sense of humor and his wood craftsmanship skills. He and Sharen were faithful members of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. Family will receive friends at a Memorial Service to be held in the Spring, date TBD.
