Gene Allen Milhoan

Gene Allen Milhoan aged 82 passed into his eternal resting July 13, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 22, 1942 to the late Howard and Goldie Milhoan of Alledonia, Ohio. Gene proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1963-1966. Following his service in the military, Gene worked numerous positions at Consolidated Coal, R&F Coal, Oxford Mining, ending his career at Kurtz Brothers. Gene enjoyed playing his guitar, gardening, watching Nascar and football and spending time with his family.

Gene is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sandy, who has been a rock and support system during this journey. He is also survived by his loving children: Lisa Milhoan, Amie (Scott) Ditto, Ryan (Tricia) Milhoan, Chad (Jessica) Milhoan and Lacy (Brian) Clouse. He is the Papaw to grandchildren: Brooke, Marcus, Jakob, Jace, Austin, Maxwell, Kodi, Kristen, Zoey, Grace, Jack, Karleigh and Brylan as well as great-grandchildren Alexander, Gabriel, Emerson and Mark. Gene is survived by his brother Howard Milhoan. Gene was preceded in death by his brother Maxwell Secrest, sister Patricia Brown and grandson Nolen Milhoan.

A private family service will be scheduled at a later date.
