Gwendolyn Patricia (Grubb) Jones, 91, passed away May 31, 2021, in Pataskala, Ohio. Preceded in death by her husband Shelby Jones, her parents Claude William and Mary Cole Grubb, siblings Jacqueline Rosalee Graham, Mary Evelyn Hussell, Bertha Francis Grubb, Ailene Short, John William Grubb, Claude Vernon Grubb, Evelina Grubb, Carol Grubb, Jean Grubb, and granddaughter Cortney Dawn Black. Survived by her children Patricia Black, Kathy Verelli, Sheila (Dale) Morris, Dwight (Molly) Jones, Jeremy Jones; sister Winona Eskins; 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Gwen retired from Ohio Bell in 1983 after 27 years of service. After raising her family in Pataskala, she and Shelby lived in Okeechobee, Florida for many years where she enjoyed her grandchildren, sewing, and putting on fish fries.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 12th, 2021 at 1:00 pm followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 289 S. Main Street, Pataskala, Ohio 43062. Private interment.
