Harold Jay Sheely

A Funeral Service for Harold “Jay” Sheely, age 69 of Pataskala, will be held on Tuesday December 30, 2014 at the Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Pataskala at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Pataskala Cemetery with Dr. Richard Ellsworth officiating.

Harold was born in Dayton Ohio to Harold and Edith (Wright) Sheely. He passed Saturday December 20, 2014 at the Mt Carmel East Palliative Center.

Jay is preceded in death by his father Harold Peter Sheely, and his twin grandchildren Jacob and Hannah.

He is survived by his wife Linda, son Jay Brian (Tami) Sheely of Texas, Mike (Katrina) Sheely of Pataskala, Robert (Nikki) Sheely of Texas, grandchildren Bailey, Eric, Brylee, Lane, Morgan, Katelyn, Ethan, and Tristan, and his great-granddaughter Isabella; his mother Edith Sheely of Texas, his sister Susan (Gunther) Strauss and niece Cynthia Forester of Texas.

Harold was a member of the NRA, loved to hunt, trap and skeet shoot, golf, build muscle cars and ride his Harley.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday December 29, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. An online memorial will be at www.kaubersammons.com. Contributions may be made to the Mt Carmel Hospice in his memory.
