Helen Thrash

Helen Rice Thrash, of Centerburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at the age of 85. She was born on June 29, 1935 to Emanuel Huffman and Irene Rice. Helen is survived by her five children, Richard Thrash, Robert (Connie) Thrash, Brenda Ingram, Frank (Candace) Ingram, and Judy Ann Ingram; one grandson and seven granddaughters; eight great-grandchildren; and siblings, Mary Ruth Stanton, Lois (Dave) Freshly, John Huffman, Clifford (Phyllis) Huffman, and Steve (Helen) Huffman. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Francis Thrash; sister, Leona Hanson; and brother, Howard Huffman. Helen retired after 26 years with the United States Postal Service, and was a retired volunteer with the fire department. She enjoyed spending time volunteering with many organizations, including being a registered volunteer STNA with Guernsey County. A graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Helen’s memory to the Fallen Firefighters Fund, P.O. Box 8124, Canton, Ohio 44711.

So sorry to hear of Helen's passing. She was always a pleasure to be with, when we did our Bus Trips and the many times we visited down at the Lake. Our deepest sympathy to all of her family.
