James William Feasel, age 78, of Pataskala, died peacefully Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Graduate of The Ohio State University and Central Ohio Technical College where he enjoyed his second career as an Electronics Instructor. Jim’s first career was as a Radio Engineer at WCOL, WHTH and also built a radio station in Nelsonville, OH. His varied interests included antique cars and old steam engines, many of which he was able to enjoy rides on. Member of the Buckeye Packard Club. Veteran U.S. Army. Preceded in death by parents, Ernest R. and Florence Feasel; brother, Ernest Jr. Survived by loving wife of 57 years, Betty Ford Feasel; half-brother, Arthur Mays of Columbus; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Doris Ford; and his faithful buddy, “Felix the Cat”. Friends may call 6-8 PM Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 289 S. Main Street, Pataskala, where Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday. Pastor John Hays officiating.
