Jean Parsons

Jean Parsons, age 93, of Pataskala passed away peacefully on Friday, August 4, 2023. She was born on August 8, 1929 in Morgan County, Ohio to the late Vernard and Blanche Hindman. In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Paul Parsons; sisters, Cleo and Marie Hindman; special feline friend, Sylvester; and father and mother-in-law, Roy and Valena Parsons. Jean is survived by her loving sons, Chris (Vici) Parsons and Shawn Parsons; three step-grandchildren, Jessie, Andrea, and Nicholus; four nieces, Melody (Dennis) Frey, Cynthia Bascom, Melissa Brown, and Kristel (John) Quarti; one nephew, Tim Brown and partner Matthew Goins; sisters-in-law Charlene (Jim) Bascom and Betty (Patrick) Rose; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. Jean was proud to own and run her own small business, Jeanie’s Beauty Shop. She truly was the glue that kept her family together; she loved to spend time with her family, and care for her cats. Family and friends may call from 10am-12pm Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home 289 S. Main St. Pataskala, Ohio 43062. Following the calling hours there will be a service officiated by Dan Hamilton, and a burial service will follow at Jersey Cemetery.
