Jeannine E. Schmidt, 84, of Granville, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Grant Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10 AM on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Tri-Village Christian Church, 7509 E. Broad St., Pataskala, OH., with Paul Snoddy officiating. Burial will be in Hartford Cemetery, Croton, OH.
Mrs. Schmidt was born November 20, 1928 in Columbus, OH to the late Frederick Carlos and Genevieve Lucille (Braham) Eisnaugle. She graduated from South High School in 1947. She retired from Hartford Elementary School as a Head Cook, member of Tri-Village Christian Church, past president of the Summit Seniors for 15 years, active member of the Lima Seniors, Hebron Seniors, Buckeye Lake Seniors, Willing Workers, “Grand Pal” Cherry Valley Elementary, volunteered at Mt. Carmel Hospital for over 14 years, passionate Hartford Fair goer since 1948, sponsored scholarship for the Licking County pork queen.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Ronald (Kay) Schmidt of Johnstown, Rhonda (Roger) Householder of Granville, Roger “Monk” (Deborah) Schmidt of Mt. Vernon, Robin (Joseph) Krempel of Pataskala, fourteen grandchildren, Tammy (Scott) Hendren, Jennifer Schmidt, Daniel Schmidt, Curt (Kirby) Householder, Mitch (Jennifer) Householder, Angela McMillen, Kira Schmidt, Kade Schmidt, Nathan (Miranda) Pratt, Caleb Pratt, Chandra (Brian ) Elder, Chelsea (Cory) Zigan, Courtney (Andrew) Barkhart, Levi Krempel, twelve great grandchildren, Claire Hendren, Koby Householder, Carly Householder, Kenzie Householder, Camden Householder, Skylar McMillen, Sierra McMillen, Carlie Pratt, Carter Pratt, Landon Elder, Lincoln Elder, Anna Beth Zigan, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald Carl Schmidt, sister, Dorothy Roberts, brother, Frederick Eisnaugle, brother, Ralph Eisnaugle, special friend, Chuck Tisdale.
Family will receive friends on Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Church from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, followed by song and sharing. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Jeannine to the Tri-Village Christian Church. An online memorial will be located at www.kaubersammons.com.
