Born on October 23, 1947, in Livorno, Italy, Bink spent his childhood growing up in Morgantown and Parkersburg, West Virginia. He graduated from high school in 1965 and later moved to Columbus to attend Columbus College of Art & Design, where he earned his degree in Advertising in 1970.
It was in Columbus that Bink met the love of his life, Kathy. Together they shared 56 years of marriage, building a life centered on love, family, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
Bink was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He had a passion for family gatherings, cheering on Ohio State Buckeyes football, enjoying a glass of Jack Daniel's, and admiring cars. His warm personality, sense of humor, and unwavering love for those closest to him will be remembered by all who knew him.
Bink was preceded in death by his parents, Carleton and Yvonne Lowther.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Lowther; his children, Shannon (Chris) Cohagan and Mike (Abbey) Lowther; his beloved grandchildren, Isabel, Brooklyn, Rachel, and Colton; his sister, Deborah (Jim) Jones and nephew JC Jones (Nitro, West Virginia). He also leaves behind his cherished fur-babies, Molly and Pepper.
Bink's legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply and the many lives he touched throughout the years.
A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer. Details will be shared with family and friends at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Bink's memory by spending time with loved ones, cheering on your favorite team, taking a drive, and raising a toast to a life well lived.
