Joan Elizabeth Brown, 82, of Pataskala, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026 at the Inn at Winchester Trail. She was born on January 25, 1944 in Powell, OH, a daughter to the late Hadley and Ruth (Fowler) Spahr. Joan is survived by her son, Troy (Tonya) Brust; grandchildren, Kyle (Emily) Brust, Lindsey Brust, Zoe Brust, Gabrielle (Issac Hansen) Brust, Ava Brust and Bryan Keaton; great-grandchildren, Bryden Brust and Graham Brust; siblings, Dave Spahr and Denny (Cecila) Spahr; daughters-in-law, Marilyn Brust and Holly Brust and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Brown; sons, Ty Brust and Timothy Brust and brother, Jimmy Spahr. Family and friends may call from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Honoring Joan’s wishes, cremation will follow services.
