Joyce Pack

Joyce Pack, 84, of Pataskala, was called to heaven on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. She was born on September 9, 1935 in Beards Fork, WV, a daughter to the late Marcus and Ida (Walker) Jones. Joyce’s childhood memories included living with her 3 brothers and parents in Kentucky and Ohio. She began a long working career at the early age of 18 in Ohio, married and then had her first child. Joyce enjoyed her life, family, church and especially retirement at the age of 62. She was a member at Bethel Baptist Church. Joyce was a wonderful homemaker, her family especially loved her southern cooking. She will be so greatly missed by her daughter, Denise (John) Woods; grandchildren, Jennifer (Robert) Stamper, Jason (April) Fravel, Leslie (Pat) Fravel; great-grandchildren, Michaela Stamper, Alyssa Fravel, Jase Fravel and Nate Fravel and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, Joyce is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Allen Pack; siblings, Bobby (Stella) Jones, Teddy (Mary) Jones and Nick Jones. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Moore officiating. Committal will follow at Pataskala Cemetery.
