Juanita Faye Jones, 94, of Blacklick, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at her residence. She was born on September 27, 1924 in Fleming, OH, daughter to the late Leslie and Vesta (Adams) Harvey. Juanita was a graduate of Vincent High School. She was a former member of Community Christian Church where she transferred her membership to New Horizon Community Church. She was active as a Boy Scout Leader and worked with her husband for USA Today. She loved babysitting numerous children in the neighborhood, but most of all she enjoyed family and dinner gatherings. Juanita was a mission secretary at Community Christian Church and a youth leader. She headed up bible studies, 5 day clubs, organized dinners and PTA functions. Juanita is survived by her loving children, Albert Jones, Warren (Terry) Jones, Cheryl (Wayne) Pace and Leslie Colvin; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Anita (Art) Thomas and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Jones; daughter-in-law, Anna Marie Jones; granddaughter, Lindsey Marie Mercer; great-granddaughter, Journey Grace Sammons and brothers, Robert Harvey and Leslie Harvey Jr. and sisters, Evelyn Williams, Marilyn (Clarence) Tullius, Loretta Lett and Lorna Green. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at New Horizons Community Church, 2100 Reynoldsburg-New Albany Rd., Blacklick, OH 43004. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Church with Pastor Dave Lewis officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the start of service. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
