Kenneth Francis King, 71, of Pataskala, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Middleton Senior Living. He was born on September 8, 1945 in Boston, MA, a son to the late Kenneth and Eleanor (Driscoll) King. Kenneth was an avid Boston sports fan and Buckeye fan. He was a volunteer with the Pataskala/West Licking Fire Department and on City Council for 15 years. He is survived by his loving children, Kenny (Melissa) King and Julie (Michael) Rutherford; grandchildren, Andrew, Chase and Nora Rutherford; brothers, Rob and Jimmy King; sister-in-law, Marilyn King and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Kenneth is also preceded in death by his wife, Theresa King. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Father Jason Prati officiating. Interment will follow at Pataskala Cemetery.
