Larry J. Dillard

Larry J. Dillard, 75, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by family and loved ones on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. He was born December 29, 1949, in Lenoir, North Carolina to the late Clyde and Pansy Dillard. Larry was a proud veteran of the United States Army, honorably serving in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne. He was a longtime member of the NRA and VFW Post 3761, an avid car enthusiast, and a vast collector of many things. Larry was strong in his devotion and was born again in his Christian faith as an adult. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sue Dillard; son, Nathan (Gloria) Dillard; sister, Sandra (Michael) Marks; niece, Bridgette Thurston; nephew, Jeremy Thurston; brother-in-law, Steve (Desi) Runkle; special cousins, Jerry, Diane, and Wade; several other nieces and nephews; and several loving family members in North Carolina. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in passing by his uncle, D.L. Adkins. Family and friends may gather from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2025, at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Immediately following Larry will be laid to rest at Pataskala Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Larry’s name to the charity of your own choosing.
