He was born on July 16, 1939 in Milan, Indiana – a son to the late Elmer and Ethel (Parsons) Johnson. He was retired from State Auto Insurance Companies after 35 years and was a graduate of Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio. He is survived by his son Ken Johnson and daughter Katie (Jarrod) Kelly; Ken’s children Haley, Hannah, Noah, Nathan and their mother Michelle Johnson; Katie’s children Kassie (Robby) Sexton, Sophie and their father Steve (Tammy) Kiley, and Weslee (Brittany), Rylee (fiance’ Emalee) and Makayla Kelly; his late son Tim’s children, Emily, Alex, Olivia and their mother Christel Skaug, and his sister Jan Cummins and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and oldest son Tim, he is preceded in death by Kathy (Kathryn Humphreys) his wife of 43 years.
