Lucille Evelyn Heimberger

Lucille Evelyn Heimberger, 97, of Etna, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 3, 1918 in Etna, OH, a daughter to the late Ora and Lola (Dunlap) Smoke. Lucille loved children and retired as a School Teacher after 35 years of employment at Pataskala Elementary. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Russell; brothers, Chester and Edgar Smoke and son-in-laws, Frank Heim and Dave Francis. Lucille is survived by her daughters, Connie Heim, Darlene Francis and Peggy (Mitch) Schoffner; grandchildren, Randy (Elaine) Heim, Kelley (Ted) Harvey, Mark (Melanie) Heim, Mike (Anna) Francis, Michelle Francis (Tara Estep), Amanda (Dustin) Sabo, Megan (Jacob) Yaraschuk and Fred (Kelli) Schoffner; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Dan Bill officiating. Interment will follow at Pataskala Cemetery.
