Michael was Born in 1948 to Roger and Ella Mae Smith. He attended New Albany High School and was a Member of Westerville Christian Church. He loved gardening, attending football games with his son and watching Shark Tank. He was also a huge Buckeye fan. Preceded in death by wife Evelyn Bowen Smith. He is survived by his son Michael Smith Jr.(Sara),Grandson Austin along with his 3 siblings, Phillip, Dale(Wanda)and Tommy Smith.
A visitation for Michael will be held Friday, March 31, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 289 S. Main Street, Pataskala, Ohio 43062, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
Michael will be laid to rest in Pataskala Cemetery, 9545 Creek Rd, Pataskala, Ohio 43062.
