Michael Lee Tate, 59, of Etna, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at his residence. He was born on December 22, 1957 in Gallipolis, OH, a son to the late Charles and Virginia (Backus) Tate. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Barbara; children, Jason (Shani) and Nicholas; grandchildren, Connor, Caleb, Christian, Cory and Caroline; siblings, Carroll (Linda), Homer (Carol Ann) and Larry (Jeanette) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Minister George Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Jersey Cemetery.
