Nelson (Paul) Kuehner (“Peaceful Paul”), age 84, went to see The Lord on January 3, 2020. He was at work as custodian with Licking Heights High Schools. He was born December 28, 1935, the son of Ossie (Faye) Bruce and Nelson Kuehner. Grandparents Pearl Bruce and Harry Kuehner. One of eight children, graduating from South High School in 1952. Retired from 40 years at Big Bear Bakery, High Street.
Paul attended Zanesville St. Thomas Aquinas Church for last 6 years and Wonderland Church for 10 years prior. Paul is survived by his wife Sonia (Shields) Kuehner, Brother Bob, Sister’s Jean and Doris, six children Lori, Martin, Robert, Steve Kuehner, Todd and Troy George. Grandchildren Siobahn, Jake, Jared, Austin, Kelsey, Kristin, Jason Kuehner; Samantha, Amber, Aprilynn, Max and Cayden George.
Paul Played the Mandolin guitar and Blue Grass music with best friends Lee, Marvin, Chris, John and Chuck. Paul’s song was “Blue Birds Are Singing”. An extremely loved man by all. A Christian man who walked his talk. An example to us all.
