

Ramon Francis Luallen, 84, of Granville, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 21, 1932 in Zanesville, OH, to the late Hershiel and Dorothy (Mercer) Luallen. Ramon was a member of the Masonic 404 Lodge and former member of the Etna Southern Baptist Church. He had a long career as a master mechanic for V. N. Holderman Construction before switching to the trucking industry. He is the retired owner of R. F. Luallen Trucking. Ramon truly enjoyed working in his garage, spending time with family and friends, building and flying remote control planes. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Patsy Lou Kirby Luallen; children, Karen (Jim) Francis, Dianna (Jeffrey) Lilly and Scott (Misty) Luallen; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; aunt, Rita Greiner of Zanesville, OH; brother-in-law, Robert Kirby of Zanesville, OH and numerous cousins, including Robert Luallen of Lancaster, OH. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. A Masonic Lodge service will begin at 5:30 p.m. to conclude calling hours. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Pataskala Cemetery.
