Rex Matthis Floyd, 34, of Pataskala, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born November 20, 1981 in Columbus, OH. Rex is survived by his mother, Dixie; fiancée, Tiffany Taylor; son, Remmington Alexander; aunt, Loretta Pierfelice and two cousins, Jessica and Kathryn. He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard. A memorial service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH, with Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the start of service.
