Robert Joseph Houghton, 65, of Pataskala, Ohio passed on Friday, July 26, 2024 at the Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio. He was born December 17, 1958 in Fort Knox, Kentucky to the late Ona and Edward Houghton. Robert was a skilled and talented metal fabricator and engineer for over 50 years, and was highly respected by all of his peers. He truly loved his family, and hung on just for them. Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Cindy Houghton; sons, Joshua (Katie) Houghton and Jordan (Nikki) Houghton; sisters, Marty (Ron Porter) Cain and Ida Flewelling; brothers-in-law, Scott Erwin and Todd Erwin; many nieces and nephews; and special feline companion, Alley. Family and friends may gather from 1:00-5:00 p.m. with memorial service starting at 4 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062.
