Rosemary Ann Emswiler

Rosemary Ann Emswiler, 87, of Pataskala, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at her residence. She was born on November 28, 1936 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Jospeh Kiss and Julia (Kovach) Kise. Rosemary was a proud partner alongside her husband of Emswiler Farms. She was graduate of the 1955 class from Dublin High School; and a former employee of Top Value Stamps, where she once held the title of Ms. Outer Space. Rosemary was a loyal and faithful member of the Jersey Baprtist Church, and former member of the Pataskala Lions Club. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren, read her bible, tend to her flower garden, and cook meals for anyone who walked through her door. Rosemary is survived by her loving children, Mary Ann Vickner and Connie Webb; longtime employee who was like a son, Pat (Mary) Fry; grandchildren, Rachel Boyer, Rebecca Vickner, Samantha Vickner, Jessica Vickner and Mandy (Jimmy Loar) Reeves; great-grandchildren, Ryan Boyer, Hayley Painter- Boyer, Olivia Wiles, Aivery Wiles, Chloey Loar, Lainey Loar and Makila Loar; siblings, Joe Kiss, John (Viv) Kiss, Debby (Bob) Johnson, and Steve Kiss; and many nieces, nephews, friends and employees. In addition to her parents, Rosemary is preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 62 years, Howard “Red” Paul Emswiler; and brother, Dave Kiss. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Jersey Church, 13260 Morse Rd. SW, New Albany, OH 43054. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Jersey Church with Pastor John Hays officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the start of service.
