Roy Lee Rose, 72, of Pataskala, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident. Funeral service will be at 1 PM on Monday, December 31, 2012 at Silver Creek Baptist Church, Rt. 52, Crum, WV. with Assistant Pastor Otis Lynn Dillon officiating. Burial will be in Manerva Marcum Cemetery, Crum, WV.
Roy was born February 29, 1940 in Crum, WV. He retired as a roofing contractor in the Central Ohio area for many years. He was also a former member of the Blue Rock Hunting Club, Gaysport, OH.
He is survived by many loving family members, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Velma (Marcum) Rose, three brothers, Delano Eugene, Lonnie Basil, and Wilburn Clyde Rose.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 289 S. Main Street, Pataskala, OH from Noon to 2 and 4 to 6 PM. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Roy to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital, 700 Childrens Drive, Columbus, OH 43205.
