

Born on July 10, 1962, in Columbus, Ohio, Scott was the son of Edmond (Rowena) Terry and Barbara Roberts. A proud graduate of the Licking Heights Class of 1980, he furthered his education at Ohio Dominican University, studying early childhood education. In his younger years, Scott showcased his musical talent as a member of a rock band. Throughout his diverse career, he worked in a glass shop, drove a school bus for Dublin Public Schools, and retired from JES Wholesale. Scott was a friend to everyone he met, known for his generosity and his regular presence at Ziggy's with friends "at the table" every weekend. He will be remembered for his creative spirit, genuine kindness, and unwavering passion for life.
Whether it was creative writing or the excitement of horse racing, Scott immersed himself in many passions, including music, history, NASCAR, football, baseball, basketball, photography, and painting. He was a dedicated fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds. His generous nature extended to volunteering, where he enjoyed reading to children at schools and visiting nursing homes.
Scott is survived by his beloved son, Dakota (Jacqulynn) Terry of Minford, Ohio, and his cherished grandchildren, Sofia, and Asher Terry. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, James (Alison) Terry; and three sisters, April (Nate) Mason, Amy (Richard) Carey, and Traci Terry, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home. Details regarding the date and time of the service will be announced by the family.
