Thelma Zinny Evans

Evans, Thelma (Zinny), age 87, of Columbus, OH and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA and Lady Lake, FL passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, OH. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 16, 1926 to Carl and Zella (Womersley) Zinsmeister, who preceded her in death. Thelma is also preceded in death by her husband, Grant P. Evans, Sr., whom she married in 1946 and her son-in-law, George Proudfoot. She is survived by 2 sisters, Marjorie Jean Smith and Zella Carlene Savage; her 5 children, Carl (Bethane) Evans, Dana Proudfoot, Grant (Diana Mia) Evans, Jr., Terry Evans and Tracey Evans; her grandchildren, Gene (Trish) Harrison, Mychelle Evans, Heather (Jack) Kohl, Tori (Jason) Ward, Kylie (Chris) Payne , Lindy (Josh) Wamsley, Laurel (Johnny) MacDonald, Turrand, Hunter, Reine and Aria Evans-Roskos. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren. Thelma graduated from Dormont High School and attended Bethany College.
