

William “Bill” Purpura, age 65, of Pataskala, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at his residence surrounded by family and loved ones. He was born on April 1, 1960, in Columbus, Ohio to Nancy Fisher and the late Michael Purpura. Bill was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend who loved his family dearly. He loved to share and tell stories to all and never met a stranger anywhere he went. Bill was an excellent writer; he was the proud editor of AAA Home and Away magazine and a beautiful songwriter. In his free time Bill enjoyed fishing and inventing, and was proud to have earned himself a US Patent. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lori Purpura; children, Joey Purpura and Audrey (Matthew) Adair; grandchildren, Parker and Millie Adair; mother, Nancy (Jerry) Fisher; sister, Jeanne Gioia; brothers, Joseph and Jimmy Purpura; and a host of other family, friends, and, loved ones. Family and friends may call from 11:00am – 1:00pm Monday, November 10, 2025, at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH, 43062. A funeral service is to follow at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Bill will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville, Ohio.
