Wilma Thorlene (Lundy) Ward, 87, of Newark, passed away on Monday October, 23 2017 at Newark Care Center. She was born on September 16, 1930 in Ashville, Ohio to the late Elisha J. and Helen Lorinda (Ward) Lundy. Wilma is survived by her children, Anne Smoke, Robert (Judy) Ward II and Jennifer Ward; grandchildren, Karl Martin II and Julie (Frank) Spidle; great-grandchildren, Allyssa (Billy) Hardman and Joseph Spidle; great-great-granddaughter, Emma Hardman. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Sonny” Ward and daughter, Wilma Jean Martin. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, Ohio 43062. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating. Interment will be held at Reber Hill Cemetery, Ashville at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Licking County Aging Program, 745 E. Main Street, Newark, Ohio 43055 in Wilma’s memory.
