

Zoe Wilcox Latimer, 79, of Pataskala, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Brookdale Assisted Living. She was born on November 27, 1936 in Akron, OH, a daughter to the late Merrill and Margaret (Lilliott) Wilcox. She is survived by her sons - Dodd (Linda), Mike (Gena), Troy and sister-in-law Barbara Dodd (Auntie Barb) of Oxford Ohio. She leaves her much loved grandchildren Lacie (Mike) Batovsky, Ashley (Eric) Melchor, Brandon (Sydney), Lindsey (Marc) Trahan, Tyler, Mikayla and great-grandchildren Hayden, Sophie, Zoey, Madison, Macie and niece Mary Ellen (Andy) Peters of Bradenton, FL. She enjoyed working in her garden, feeding the birds, singing in the choir and having family gatherings at her house. In her spare time you would find her sitting in her yellow rocker, crocheting an afghan for the newest addition to the family or prayer shawls for her Church with her loving “kitties” watching every stitch. In addition to her parents Zoe is preceded in death by her loving husband, James and son, “Chip”. Friends may call at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, on Friday, January 22nd from 4-7pm. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 23rd, at 1pm at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 107 E. Broadway, Granville, OH with Father Stephen Applegate officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Diabetes or Heart Associations, The Special Olympics or your favorite charity.
