Alice was born February 4, 1919 in Central City, NE, to Frank and Bessie (Hamilton) Little. She graduated from High School in Central City and in 1943 she moved to Ontario, OR.

After the war she married Rhyll Edward “Benny” Bennett. They raised 4 children and she was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. She worked for Cables Chevrolet (later Matthews Chevrolet) in Ontario. She enjoyed all of the people she worked with especially Ruth Stillman. She was always serving and helping others and often giving rides to appointments to friends younger than herself. She could be seen driving around town in her blue 1978 Nova until December 2010. She was always grateful for the trip to Milwaukie, OR for Justin and Tana's wedding and that Tom and Cindy took her to visit Paul and Marilyn in Florida in November 2010. Alice always enjoyed going for a ride in the country with her family and out to dinner.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brother Frank Roy, brother-in-law Richard Johnson and grandson Corey Paul Bennett. Alice is survived by her children Susan (Tom) Reed, Caldwell, ID, Bette (Lane) Trost, Milwaukie, OR, Paul ( Marilyn) Bennett, New Bern, NC and Tom (Cindy) Bennett, Star, ID. She has 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Johnson, Denver, CO, her brother, Don (Betty) Little, Tucson, AZ, and sister-in-law, Kay Little, Lincoln, NE and many nieces and nephews. The family expresses thanks to Alice's friend Nikki Sinclair, Meadowbrook Assisted Living and Legacy Hospice for their wonderful care.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a favorite charity or to Eastern Star Central City Chapter in care of Shaffer Jensen Memory Chapel, P.O. Box 730, Payette, ID 83661.

I was sorry to see that Mrs. Bennett passed away. Growing up in the neighborhood that was full of kids, I have great memories of sledding at "Bennett's Hill". I loved that she drove that Nova for so long and she always has a big smile whenever I saw her in it running around town. Sweet, sweet lady. Tish Richter-Fields

Sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother. I remembered her, when I worked at the Chevy garage, and my Dad worked at Cables, probably the same time your Mother was there. Also remember working on the blue and white Nova at Widmers. Very Nice Lady.

We enjoyed being next door neighbors with Alice and Benny for 10 years and then running into and visiting with Alice in various restaurants around town after moving from the "old" neighborhood. Truly a wonderful lady and we are happy to have known her. Our deepest sympathy to the loved ones she leaves behind.

I loved my visits with your Mom, she'd always keep me up on what everyone was doing and where everyone was living and always a new picture of a grand-baby !! I'll miss her as I know you will but now she is without pain and with your father once again. HUGZ to you all, Allen Roberts
