Edward Vernile Clinger, age 52, of Payette died Tuesday January 29, 2019 in Meridian. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Edward was born on February 17, 1966 in Rexburg, Idaho to Argus A. and Ethel Maurice (Bagley) Clinger. He was 6th out of seven children . Edward spent all of his youth in Rexburg. His family would spend their summers on the Dry Farm, where he grew to love farming.
Edward worked his whole life in farming and loved to be outside. He enjoyed the challenge of farming for the most part. He had the ability to see what needed to be done and didn’t quit until he was done. He worked long hours never seeing to tire. He loved snowmobiling, 4-wheelers and motorcycles. Edward preferred herding cows with motorcycles than on a horse. He had a quick and funny sense of humor even up until the end. He could fix and repair just about anything. He was a jack of all trades. He loved welding when the need arises. He had a hard time the last few years not being physically able to do the things that once came so easy. He will be missed by all who loved him.
Edward is survived by his wife, Lori (Bennion) Clinger, his children, Holiann LaRee Clinger, Dylan Edward Clinger, Marjorie Nicole Clinger; His father Argus Clinger, Siblings Cynthia (Mike) Glass, Lynda (Dean) Erickson, Patricia (Kelly) Orme, Mari Jo (Joel) Dazley, Adrian (Melissa) Clinger, and John Clinger.
