I. June Cuthbert

June was born in Adon, WY on June 9, 1926. She was the daughter of George and Merle Donner. She was raised in rural Campbell County WY and graduated from Campbell County High School in Gillette in 1944. She later moved to New Plymouth, ID and worked at various jobs. She married Floyd Cuthbert in Ontario, OR on Sept. 15, 1949.

The couple moved to New Meadows in 1955, and then Council in 1960, where Floyd was employed in the sawmills. After Floyd’s retirement they moved to Payette County to be closer to family.

June was a homemaker and her priorities were family and faith in the Lord. Later in life grand and great grandchildren brought her great joy. She remained a faithful member of the Church of the Nazarene in Council and Payette.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents and two sisters.

June is survived by her six children, Darrell, David, Twila, Gordon (Corann), Joyce, and Norman (Betsy); six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 21st at the Church of the Nazarene in Payette. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Payette. Services are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Condolences may be made to June’s family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com.
