Jerry Louis Jensen, 73, of Payette, ID, returned to his Heavenly Father on Dec. 31, 2014 on in Boise. He had struggled with recent health issues and is now at peace. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Monday Jan 5, 2015 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 501 S. Iowa Ave. Payette, Idaho 83661. Bishop John Briscoe will conduct. Visitation will be at the LDS Church Mon. Jan. 5, 2015 from 9 to 9:45 am before the service. Condolences may be made to Jerry’s family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. Jerry was born in Santa Barbara, CA on January 8, 1941 to Tage Louis Ejvin and Vivian Creola (Fugua) Jensen.
After his marriage to Janet, the couple moved to Utah to live and raise their family. He worked as a steel worker at Geneva Steel. After retirement and the passing of his first wife and love, Janet, he met Christine, and a short time after they married, they moved to Payette, Idaho to live. Jerry was very devoted to Christine during the ten years they were married. Jerry said he was fortunate to have married two of the most amazing women in the world and he hoped he could live his life to be worthy of them Jerry enjoyed photography, computers and other electronic devices, family history work, his pets and watching movies.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Christine Warner Jensen, and children Joy (Robert) Brough, John (Becky) Jensen, Jason (Jennifer) Jensen, Jeff (Zella) Jensen, Jerry (Brandi) Jensen, Jared "Jett" Jensen, and step-children Robert (Nayara) Cary, and Amelia Hathaway, 31 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. Jerry was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Belton Jensen.
