Arthur retired from Sherwin-Williams as a long-haul truck driver. In retirement, he loved working in his yard and keeping all the vehicles clean and spotless. Arthur and Carolyn, his beloved wife, loved traveling across the US, and occasionally to places like Ecuador, during their 65 years of marriage. They also loved taking cruises to Alaska and the Caribbean when they could. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed playing with Stryker and Ginger, his son Ray’s Dobermans. As a father, he was a stern but fair man who provided for his entire family and he loved each one of them with his whole heart.
Arthur is preceded in death by his loving mother, and by his beloved wife, Carolyn Jean Colwell Grissett, and his adored daughter, Linda Gray. He is survived by his son, Arthur Ray Grissett Jr. and daughter-in-law, Lori.
Arthur will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
No public services will be held for him, per his wishes.
